WHEN TO HIT (Blackjack)
Knowing when to hit in Blackjack is very important.
If your first two cards total fall along the 3 to 9 range, then you hit no matter what the dealer’s first card is showing.
If your first two cards total 12, then you hit if the dealer’s first card is showing 2,3,4,8,9,10,Ace

If your first two cards total fall along the 13 to 16 range, then you hit if the dealer’s first card is showing 7,8,9,10,Ace.

If you have Ace and 2 through, you hit if the dealer’s first card is showing 2,3,7,8,9,10,Ace.

If you have a pair of 2,3,6,7,9 then you hit when the dealer’s first card shows 8,9,10,Ace.

WINNING WITH CARD COUNTING (Baccarat)
Card counting techniques, which proved so effective at winning at blackjack, have been attracting a lot of study lately as a winning method at baccarat. Here’s how they work.
In baccarat, just like blackjack, the removal of cards from play creates situations where the changes of receiving particular cards or combinations of cards change. The removal of certain types of cards favor the Player while others favor the Banker.

A good count strategy shows you how to recognize situations that favor betting Banker and others where Player is the better bet. By judiciously altering bets with the count, a card counter can improve his or her chances at the table and win money at baccarat.

The basic theory is low cards favor the Player position, and high cards favor the Banker. Certain cards have little effect and are considered neutral. Counters track the removal of these cards, betting the Player position when there is a higher ratio a higher ratio of the high cards remaining.

The Buzz from other players
It’s always a good idea to find out what others are saying about a specific site. There are dozens, if not hundreds or even thousands, of sites that purport to “rate” the best online casinos, but some of these are affiliated in some way with the gambling sites they promote. When you’re reading through a rating site, look for the criteria the site uses in determining a gambling site’s ranking. Independent sites typically will base their ratings on the casino’s payout percentage, customer support services, ease of use, and other factors. Many of these sites also have message boards where you can find out what players think about a given site. Ideally, you want an online casino that is free of player complaints. You will likely find complaints from people who are unhappy that they lost money gambling and want to blame the casino site for their bad luck, poor gambling skills, or faulty strategies. Read such complaints carefully, and look for patterns in the types of complaints. Are players having a hard time cashing in their winnings? Are there unreasonable delays in receiving winnings or promised bonuses? You can make allowances for the occasional disgruntled losing player, but if a particular gripe shows up again and again, and from more than one player, that should make you wary about joining that gambling site.
